Intralox’s Series 900 Raised Rib Heavy-Duty Edge belt is a robust, fault-tolerant solution designed specifically to address the challenges pork processors face in microwave applications.
Ribs on the belt extend all the way to its edge, allowing for 100% belt surface usage. This helps prevent cooked bacon from curling and enables processors to stack more product and increase throughput.
With its unheaded rods, the Heavy-Duty Edge design inhibits “rod walk” caused by thermal expansion, eliminating edge breakage, minimizing foreign material contamination risk, and reducing downtime.
Additionally, we’ve optimized the removal and assembly of our belts with the new rod remover tool as part of the Intralox® FoodSafe™ product portfolio.
