Tyson unit launches Angus beef promotion
Tyson Foods Inc. announced that its Tyson Fresh Meats division is now offering marketing support to retailers covering its Star Ranch Angus beef brand in a two-phase effort this summer and fall.
The Mealtime Matters promotion will include a mobile-friendly website offering what are being described as “easy-to-share” recipes featuring Star Ranch Angus beef products. It also will offer coupons, apparel, in-store signage, social media-based contests and customer giveaways designed to help retailers promote the Tyson product line, the company said in a news release.
The first phase of the promotional effort will continue through July, with the second phase scheduled to begin in September and conclude in November, the company said.
